Hmmm, what to say about me in this about page?  My name is Mary and I’m a proud GryffinROAR Librarian who enjoys working with teens and adults.  I’m a huge geek who will never be caught up on the ever growing backlog of books, comics, board games, and video games.  There are just so many good things to read and play and watch!

I created this review blog because I’m alway recommending graphic novels and/or comics to my patrons, friends, and colleagues.  I also know that the library world is still grasping with good review sites for graphic novels.  So I figured one more couldn’t hurt.  The internet is a place for infomation…and cat pics.  There will probably be an occasional book review if I have strong feelings about a recently read title.

What types of graphic novels do I read?  Pretty much every genre and age group.  I’m in charge of buying graphic novels across the board for my library so you never know what I’ll review next.  I grew up reading super hero comics so the Bat Family and The Uncanny X-Men have a special place in my geeky heart.
